Meet our Ecommerce Unlocked Brand Panellists!
Want to learn more about how ecommerce can help your business adapt to the modern world of retail? Or how the business model you choose can sustain success and generate rapid growth? Join us for our live panel discussion at Ecommerce Unlocked on Friday 10th of September, where panellists from three successful South West brands will be sharing their experiences!
Brand leaders from Riverford Organic Farmers, The Recycled Candle Company and Seasalt Cornwall will be talking about the types of business models that have helped them navigate the twists and turns of the changing retail landscape, whether it’s an automated subscription model or an army of influencers.
So, without further ado, let’s meet our panellists!
Mark Moody, Riverford Organic Farmers
First up, joining us from the organic veg box brand whose sprouted goods have found their way onto dinner tables across the nation is Head of Channel Marketing at Riverford, Mark Moody.
Established in 1987, Devonshire brand Riverford has been around for a while, utilising subscription from the outset to get top-quality fruit and veg direct to people’s doors on a regular basis.
At Riverford Organic Farmers, Mark is responsible for customer acquisition, keeping the brand's customers happy, shopping more regularly, and for longer! He also manages the Face to Face sales teams, outbound customer reactivation team and customer service team. We’re delighted to welcome Mark to the Ecommerce Unlocked stage as he discusses Riverford’s journey as a South West subscription model retailer!
Richard Hills-Ingyon and Sargon Latchin, The Recycled Candle Company
Next up, joining us from Gandy Street, Exeter’s independent shopping haven, are Richard Hills-Ingyon and Sargon Latchin from The Recycled Candle Company, a small business with a big personality.
Passionate about recycling waste into something beautiful, in 2015 Richard and Sargon transformed a candle-making hobby into a highly successful eco-friendly business - the only candle recycling business in the UK, in fact.
As the pandemic hit highstreets across the world in 2020, Richard and Sargon decided to invest in their ecommerce website and really focus on growing their digital presence. Hear direct from this dynamic duo about how they’ve used D2C ecommerce to transform their wholesale and brick-and-mortar business into a multi-channel success story!
Tim Ryan, Seasalt
Last but not least, our final panellist is Tim Ryan, Director of Digital at popular Penzance-born lifestyle brand Seasalt.
Describing themselves as a “modern Cornish company with an ambitious vision”, Seasalt have experienced rapid growth, whilst ensuring their values and their customers remain at the centre of their business. Now, they’re one of the county’s largest employers!
Tim will be giving us the lowdown on the business’ recent digital expansion, which has only been accelerated by the pandemic. Seasalt experienced a significant lift in online traffic as stores closed due to lockdown, with approximately two thirds of Seasalt’s sales now being made online. What are the biggest lessons that the Seasalt team have learnt from this digital acceleration? Find out at Ecommerce Unlocked!
